Driving directions to N4AF


From Raleigh, take Rt64 EAST to Zebulon and pick up Rt264 to Wilson.
Note that you must take the Wilson exit on Rt264-otherwise you will end up on Rt95.
You need to make a right at the sign saying Washington which puts you on Rt264.
Ref I95 directions below from Wilson on. (You will stay with Rt264 from Zebulon
all the way to Washington, where you will make a right at the main intersection.

If coming from I95 take 264 exit at Wilson and proceed to Washington N.C. At Washington intersection of 264 (5th st) and I17 (Bridge St) take I17 south for about 4 miles to Rt 33.
Proceed 16 miles down Rt33 to Cox Cross Roads in Blounts Creek. As you exit Blounts Creek you should see the Blounts Creek Fire Department and cell phone tower on your left. The left turn to N4AF will be 1.6 miles past the firestation. The turnoff is right where the road makes a right bend and there is a streetsign saying Bluebird Trail. Also there is a brick pumping station surrounded by chain link fence right before the left turn. I am half a mile off Rt33 so proceed down the dirt path to N4AF. Note that after passing the Blounts Creek F.D. the road bends to the right, then the left, and my driveway is located at the following right curve on Rt33.

On the right is Stilley Station Rd. Across the street (50 feet on down), on your left,You should see a white house with a gravel road that appears to head to the garage of the white house. The road leads to N4AF. At the beginning of the driveway is a black mailbox labeled Hoyt on the top of the mailbox is a bar reading "HOYT N4AF".
The towers are may be visible in the distance. Follow the driveway for approximately 1/2 mile to N4AF.
